Our unique climate gives us perfect growing conditions

Professional and home chefs love Kona grown vanilla. Our vanilla vines are grown at the base of Hualalai, one of the six volcanoes on the Big Island.  The porous and mineral rich volcanic rock combined with the sunny days, warm trade winds and mild nights give this vanilla a unique taste and aroma. 

 

The curing  process takes 120-150 days after harvest. Curing is considered an "art form" by many in the trade. Slow curing results in proper moisture content for the finished product. Read more about this on the Vanilla page.
